STOP BUYING RAZER LAPTOPS. This was by far the most frustrating customer support experience I have ever dealt with, and companies are only as good as their customer support. Unfortunately for Razer, their products AND their customer support system are the most unreliable in the industry. For 10 years I’ve been seeing Razer laptops come into my computer repair shop with overheating issues and misc. problems caused by running at 100C for months. But by far, a swollen battery was one of the most common issues. You would think spending $4000 4 years ago would mean being able to purchase a replacement battery when it inevitably dies. Nope, this is a “legacy” device (except Razer’s website says the opposite). They tell you to go to a repair shop, but also tell you not to use an aftermarket battery (which is a repair shops only option). This insanity needs to stop and the US needs right to repair laws that actually do something. #computer #technology #Tech #pc #techtok
