First Communion


The Mass of Presentation for all students preparing to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday October 26. All students and their families are requested to attend.

Parish families with children preparing to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in 2015 are invited to light the Advent wreath candles before each of the Masses during Advent. The family will process in and light the appropriate number of candles before the opening prayer and would also be invited to bring up the gifts at the Offertory. Please click here to sign up:

In order to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion a child must:

 - be a registered parishioner 

 - be baptized in a Catholic Church or have made a Profession of Faith

 - be enrolled in either PREP Level 2 or be attending grade 2 in a Catholic School
 
 - have successfully completed one year of instruction in addition to the current year of preparation 
 
 - have a good attendance record.

If your child has not completed all of these requirements, please contact the DRE so that we can review your individual situation and find a suitable solution.
